B. Rule Changes - Constitution. Proposed by R.Bailey, seconded by A.Ghosh

 

2.1 The Club exists to provide facilities for the flying of model aircraft and other related social activities.

2.1. The Club exists to provide facilities for, and promote the sport of model flying, and all related activities.

 

New Rule 2.5

 

2.5. Any surplus income will be reinvested in the club. Surplus income is money which is left over after paying expenses, or repaying grants or loans.

 

New Rule 2.6

 

2.6. In the event that the activities of the club cannot continue and it is decided that the club must be dissolved, the following action will be taken with regard to any assets held by the club:

2.6.1. Fixed assets will be converted to cash and any outstanding debts, loans or grants repaid;

2.6.2. Remaining assets will be donated to the British Model Flying Association or a registered charity connected with aviation.

 

10.3 The Club reserves the right to refuse to accept any request for membership.

10.3 The Club reserves the right to refuse to accept membership from any person whose membership would be likely to be contrary to the best interests of the sport or the best interests of the club.

 

10.4 The Club is not permitted to refuse membership to anyone solely on the following grounds:

• Race or ethnic origin;
• Gender;
• Sexual orientation;
• Religious belief; or
• Disability.
