NORTH LONDON FLYERS CLUB CHRISTMAS DINNER
SATURDAY, 27TH NOVEMBER, 2004

It is that time of year again!! For the past couple of years we have gone Chinese, but this year decided to try something different. After much debate, it was agreed to go Greek and, as usual, our good old !!!!!! Chief Flying Instructor - Tony Madrugo - came up trumps once again by kindly offering to do the honours and organise it at a small Greek Taverna which he knows well.

We had a very good turn out, and started the evening quite sedately - as we always do !!!!! The food was absolutely brilliant, with wave upon wave of different dishes to try. As the wine and beer started flowing, the noise levels rose considerably, which always indicates that everyone is having a good time !!!!!

As you can see from one of the pictures, no we don't have Lawrence of Arabia as one of our club members, it's Mark, our Chairman, doing his impersonation with a serviette and his tie. We think his hearing is not as good as it used to be as, when we said we were going Greek, he must have thought we said Sheik !!!!!! Also, it wasn't long before some of the guys were trying out their "Zorba the Greek" dance, and I say trying in the politest way possible !!!!!

We all had a great night, and once again, many thanks to Tony for doing a brilliant job in organising it, and a big thank you to all the members that came along.
